Scene of a Coffee Crime

I watch a lot of true crime shows.  I am always astounded by the far-flung mess of physical evidence left behind at a murder scene.  Sometimes, I find myself thinking such aftermath seems almost implausible.  Then I go and pour myself one cup of coffee and spend three minutes wiping down coffee splatter on the countertop, cabinet door, floor, and nearby sugar and flour dispensers.
