The Balvenie Doublewood, 17 year, single malt Speyside Scotch.
Dark and earthy, yet crafted, astoundingly, to finish sweet.
Matured first in traditional American oak casks for 12 years, the Scotch
takes on a hint of vanilla. Following
that, the Doublewood is transferred into European sherry casks for an extra 5
years of finishing.
So worth the wait.
