Reverse Logic

I got to thinking about a few common maxims we use.  Tweaked only a bit, they may have totally different perspectives and still ring with a basic truth.  Here are a few examples:

-                   "Every thorn has its rose"

-                   "All roads lead away from Rome"

-                   "Better is bigger"

-                   "Every day has its dog"
