The first known American Thanksgiving was held in
Plymouth, where the Pilgrims and the Wompanoag gathered in the fall of 1621 to
celebrate a year of bountiful harvest.
The feast is known to have consisted of vegetables harvested from the
garden, turkey, and five deer provided by the Wompanoag.
I am providing sea salt potato chips today.
You’re welcome.
