On occasion, I watch network television programming. I have noticed that between 4:00 PM and 6:00
PM many of the associated advertisements are hawking prescription-type
drugs. These drugs usually have exotic
names with either an “x” or a “z” in the mix.
Such promotions invariably end with a narrator rushing through a long
list of possible side effects.
The ads between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM are different.
Many of them promote legal firms bringing class action lawsuits against the drugs
(and drug manufacturers) advertised in the earlier hours a couple years
ago.
Drugs and lawyers are money holes we expect to produce miracles.
