Yesterday morning, I saw my first bluebird of the year.
Came dancing vividly across the cotton white expanse of snow, that
bird. Upon reaching my fence, the
bluebird flared into a mid-air curtsy and dropped firmly onto the top rail for
a quick appraisal of the place.
Later in the day, I spotted a half dozen more bluebirds stitching quick
flights near snowbound Lake Helena.
Spring is here officially.
