Strange and ugly,
this crisis of disease. The entire world
is crashing down around us in a kind of grim slow-motion. Country by country, citizens have separated
and are now isolating in their homes. Businesses
have shuttered. Economies have spooled-down.
Now, the last
thing we want is to grasp the hand of anyone reaching out to help us.
We cannot even touch
our own face.
