Yesterday afternoon I walked the open country. At my feet, the occasional blue caterpillars
inched across the narrow road. Clouds
blossomed in the sky above me and sailed on.
But please tell me, if you are able, why did the pretty songbirds circle
and scream at me for the entire way?
