Yesterday morning, my sister, Debbie,
and I hiked a trail at the base of Mount Helena. The temperature was ideal for hiking and the
skies were clear of rain following several days of storms. Better yet, all manner of wildflowers were on
full display.
I captured images with my
smarter-than-me-phone as we hiked along.
The photographs are of varying quality; but they tell the story.
Cathedral of St. Helena.
Arrowleaf balsamroot.
Prairie smoke.
Tufted phlox.
Pasqueflower.
Larkspur.
Shootingstar.
Mountain forget-me-not.
