Posted today is a photograph of the Missouri River and the bottoms where the river skirts the Big Belt Range. I took the photograph while on a drive
between Helena and Great Falls a few days ago.
Though not a particularly great photograph, I think the image adequately
captures the drama of the autumn morning.
Most interesting is how the mist was not rising from the river where the
valley opened in the Big Belt Mountains.
