Following a daytime thaw, the moisture on my concrete driveway assembled
into frost trees during the nighttime freeze.
I have seen this pattern before; and posted similar photographs on this
blog. Still, I am fascinated by these
patterns each time I see them.
Building great river deltas, trees, frost, and creatures deep in
the sea, nature repurposes the same patterns.
