A Reconfigured Adage
The
adage “There is a right way and wrong way to do things” is not fully accurate. In
order to account for me, the saying should be: “There is a right way and many
costly wrong ways to do things.”
In the Navy it was, “There is the right way to do things, the wrong way to do things, and the Navy way of doing things.” Rarely did the first and last line up to be THE way to do things.
