Why not a Cloud?

Why not a cloud?
That, rather than trapped in a web of veins
Or fenced in by pickets of white bone.
Why not sail on where gravity has set no hooks?
The human heart is too heavy for this thin winter sky
And the thought freedom is not freedom true.
Why not a cloud?
