No longer hunters and gatherers,
we have cast our net of wavelengths all about us.
By day and by night
our tiny satellites slowly till the stars,
trying to seed our messages electrical, mechanical, and mathematical.
But the stars never fully part and the seeds don’t take.
And if you look closely
You find that we are one in achievement
yet divided by heart.
