At the outset of the Russian
invasion of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky was presented an opportunity
to flee his country in the name of personal safety. He famously responded: “I need ammunition,
not a ride.”
In the weeks of continuous war following
the invasion of Ukraine, Zelensky has proven himself a remarkable and fearless
man. He has lived up to the last two
quotes I shared above.
The Ukrainians have proven similarly
remarkable.
