I can’t say it’s a constant issue, but signs posted along our country roads sometimes end up with bullet holes in them. As a general rule, I and the nearby landowners get a little twisted up about this kind of thing.
A parcel of property adjacent
to me recently sold to a gentleman who opted to beat the sign-shooters to the
quick. Yesterday, upon hearing what I
thought was something banging against me house, I peered out my bay window and
saw my new neighbor shooting holes into his own sign with a pistol.
I’m not sure what to make of
this approach to things, but the sign and the property are his. So, he’s got that going for him.
